| I'm a college student (majoring in some sort of science -- can't decide yet), full-time, who loves just about anything that's vaguely interesting. Be it vampires, demons, whatever -- on the condition that it's nice to look at and can keep my interest long enough to explain itself to my brain. For almost ten years, now, I've been drawing (over half of my life-time, now) and I'm still trying to improve myself. I fully believe in the theory that observing the natural world around you and applying that to art will aid one's talent in that department, as well as "practice makes perfect". Drawing (seriously, not doodles) at least three times a week (optimally, every day) will also help better the artist and the creative process. I'm just a bit too lazy to post everything I do, though, especially once school's in session. All art is wonderful, but everything can be more than it is. Art and emotion go hand-in-hand and if one can express their feelings evidently though a drawing or painting of any sort, the more power to them, especially if they can relay the same message to their audience. |
